Graham joined the GP Federation in 2017 as a Non-Executive Director, becoming Chief Executive in June 2020.
As Chief Executive, he is responsible for all aspects of the strategic development, sustainability and operational delivery of the organisation. He is accountable to the Board of Directors for the achievement of our objectives and priorities, and to our GP shareholders for ensuring that we continuously support and enable high quality primary care in Wandsworth.
Increasingly, Graham spends a significant amount of my time working with colleagues across the local health and care system as we strengthen collaborative working across organisations. He is also the first chair of the new Wandsworth Provider Alliance.
A qualified Music Therapist, he first joined the NHS in a clinical role working in mental health and learning disability services.
He has spent most of my career in NHS general management roles in both provider and commissioning organisations. He has also worked at the interface between health and social care in joint commissioning and partnership roles.
Graham has worked in Wandsworth since 2007, initially as the Director of Commissioning with Wandsworth PCT followed by five years as the Chief Officer of Wandsworth CCG.
He particularly enjoys the diversity of his role and working with colleagues on an often-complicated range of issues and challenges.
He is a volunteer trustee at St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich & East Suffolk and an increasingly optimistic season ticket holder at Ipswich Town FC.
